Alan Ma

Alan’s project management skills are rooted in a combination of technical knowledge, insight and leadership. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, he accepted project management positions across the state of California, enabling him to hone his expertise in a range of industries with complex challenges. Highlights of his career range from his start as a construction manager on a $240 million OSHPD Kaiser healthcare facility, BIM manager on a $75 million design assist LEED-certified Platinum medical office building and design manager of a $172 million design assist OSHPD hospital project. His accomplishments are key to his role at Lyons Development, where his passions in architecture and design management continue to thrive. Alan’s list of personal achievements include earning the rank of Eagle Scout, second degree Black Belt in Kendo, first degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and fluency in Korean. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor sports such as rock climbing, surfing and cycling. He also enjoys traveling abroad and has explored 37 countries, with many more to come.
